In La' Notion's basic garment construction class you will learn how to make a garment specific to its utility. You will grasp basic knowledge of fabric construction, material selection, and fit.

In La' Notion's Garment Embellishment class you will learn how to personalize and add design to your garments. You will be able to create ruffles, fringe, beading/ sequins, and belt loops.

In La' Notion's basic alterations class you will learn proper tailoring methods. These methods will help you have the eye and know how to adjust garments to fit any body type. You will walk away with the knowledge of seam adjustment, stitch removal, and a lot more!

In La' Notion's flat pattern making class you will learn what a pattern is and how to make a flat-pattern. Flat patterns allow you to see the symmetry and balance of garment construction. You will learn how to use drafting tools such as rulers, curves, and a whole bunch of other pattern marking tools. When you finish this class you will have the ability to be your own tailor.

In La' Notion's pattern alteration class students will learn to alter already made patterns to fit individual body measurements to achieve a desired style. In addition to fit you will be able to add or take away aspects to a pattern and make it into a whole new pattern.

In La' Notion's draping class students will learn the process of positioning and pinning fabric on a dress form to create a patterns or design. You will learn how fabric flows and adjust to the natural curve of a form.

In La' Notion's advanced alterations class you will learn proper tailoring methods. These methods will help you have the eye and know how to adjust garments to fit any body type. You will walk away with the knowledge of seam adjustment, stitch removal, and a lot more!

In La' Notion's how to construct a jacket class you will learn the art of adjusting jackets to fit a particular person's unique body shape. Tailors can adjust anything on a jacket from the sleeve length to the shoulder seams. Now you will too!

In La' Notion's how to construct pants class you will learn essential skills such as sewing seams, inserting zippers, attaching waistbands, and hemming. These skill will allow you to be able to tailor and construct a well-finished pair of pants.
